Dean Wright
Managing Director
After 12 years at a prestigious Johannesburg law firm in South Africa, 6 of them being as an equity partner, Dean Wright was provided with an opportunity to put his name on the door and took the leap to establish Wright Attorneys Incorporated.
After completing his studies in 2008, Dean was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in March 2010. Over the past 10 years Dean has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in several areas of law but specialises in civil, commercial, corporate and property law and litigation.
Dean has advised well-known property owning, investment and management companies situated both locally and internationally and have a keen interest in representing sub-contractors in the South African Built Environment, particularly in relation to the JBCC Suite of Agreements.
He was also a co-facilitator for the Diploma in International Arbitration at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
In addition to the above, his practice experience includes drafting of various types of commercial agreements, sectional title disputes and levy collections (including CSOS
disputes), municipal law, establishment of trusts, drafting of wills, divorce law, insolvency law, eviction proceedings, debt collections, company law, company structuring (including BEE structuring), company secretarial work, white collar criminal law, general legal practice and most recently, conveyancing.

Dominique completed her studies at the University of Johannesburg in 2013 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2016.
During her time at a well-known and prestigious law from in Johannesburg, she gained experience in commercial and property law and litigation, family law, labour law, gambling law and municipal law.
She has assisted a variety of individuals, corporates and body corporates/homeowner associations with a full spectrum legal services.
Dominique is passionate about fighting for the rights of animals and against cruelty of animals in South Africa and has become one of the NSPCA’s most trusted attorneys and legal advisors. She has represented the organisation (and various of its branches) in various matters concerning the well-being of animals throughout South Africa and has been involved in various high profile and publicised matters.

Mónica de Oliveira
Junior Attorney
Mónica completed her legal studies at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2021 and joined Wright Attorneys as a Candidate Legal Practitioner in January 2023. In March 2025, Mónica was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
Since joining the firm, Mónica has gained experience in a wide range of legal areas and currently heads the firm’s sectional title scheme department. Her practice includes general debt collection, litigation, family law (including both ante-nuptial contracts and divorce law, offering clients a full-service experience from “I do” to “I’m done”), animal welfare law, property law, and the drafting of wills.
Mónica has a particular interest in contractual drafting and commercial law, which remain her preferred areas of practice. She has drafted a variety of commercial agreements and assists both individuals and companies with their legal needs in the corporate and contractual space.
She has appeared in the Magistrates’ Courts and has experience in the High Court and in arbitration proceedings. Mónica has also assisted in numerous urgent applications — albeit often against her will and with a few grey hairs to show for it — and has developed a reputation for staying calm and capable under pressure.
